Hi can anyone help

I need a twelve tooth spur gear for the front axle of my kubota b7ooo and ordered one from a dealer here in the u.k.The one i have i received appears to be to thick (22mm) and have been told the the one required is only 17mm thick. Dose anybody know if what i have been told is correct and if so where do i get one
