Front end loader

I'm looking to put a front end loader on my L3000. What should I look for

It takes one of several factory loaders, but finding any of them with all of the proper mounts might be a real challenge, you might be better off to find an aftermarket loader.

Factory models that would work.
LA450S-2
LA452S
LB400
LB400A
LB402

An F is a two wheel drive in any L or M series. Also how much do you want to budget for a loader?

Yes it's 2 wheel drive not more then 4 or 5 grand. Not sure I can do it for that

If you plan on a doing it yourself than your budget should be close! That would be close for a non quick detach loader and a pin on bucket.

Well I will need external hydraulics as well so this may way I'm a machinist so I hope I can do it my self

You can pick up a loader that will work for about $2500, you just need to look, everywhere!
Woods makes a really good loader that is easy to find and easy to setup, at worse case you get the loader and have to make the mounts which is not that hard to do.
It will run off of the hydraulic system on the tractor no need for added hydraulic pump.

Woods LC96 with a 66"pin on bucket MSRP with out freight or install $6321.00 some high volume dealers can get them for a good discount so this price would worse case.

Finding a used loader could prove to be a difficult task! You gave a list of loaders that's a good start. But we still have a two wheel drive tractor which not the greatest idea.

I sold an L3200F with a LA514 loader and the customer has been whining about having to work at hard with his projects. I told him you requested the cheapest way and I filled your request and told him that this not the way to go with no FWA before he bought it!

True it is a two wheel drive but I'm not selling my tractor I love it it's just the right size for me. And I don't need two. And I know it's limited as to what it can do.

Your looking for a Woods 1009 or a 1012 loader for that model.

There are some other loader options out there, however Kubota and Woods are by far the most common ones I have seen.

I found some cheap china made loaders for $3000 complete a few weeks back but can't locate them now....

If you can't find a solid used Woods, its something to check out...

Oh but my wife would have a stroke. Lol. Thanks for the info guys. May have found a used tractor with one on it going to look at it latter today. May have to bite the bullet take the fussing for a few days and get it We will see
