Suggestions on 3 point snow blower for B2650.

I'm looking to get rear snow blower for my B2650 as you know the pto HP is 19.5. I have no idea what brand would be good or what size to get.

My local kubota dealer can pretty much order any brand. My first thought is land pride. I already own a quick attach 72" front blade that i used last winter on my gravel road. I had trouble when we got large amounts of snow 2 feet plus, i would get so much snow in front of me that the tractor could not push it and raising up the plow did not help as snow would build up under the tractor.

So i ended up attaching the bucket and moved the snow that way and then switched back to the front plow. I think a front plow and a rear blower would be the best of both worlds as my road loves to drift closed.

Why do you want a rear mounted blower for a B tractor? Were it me I would be going with a front mounted blower... Im to old and stiff to be riding turned around for a couple hours any more

What he said ^ My suggestion is also to forget the rear and get a front blower. Especially with a gravel driveway, I think you'll find it easier to keep out of the stones and prevent breaking shear pins than using the 3 point lift to raise and lower it in the dips in the driveway.

If you must do a mower and blade combo then do the front blower and a rear blade.
Mowing is one thing with a rear mower, no way I'd want to use a rear snow blower

I don't think the correct answer for everyone is a front mount snowblower over a rear mount snowblower. How long and straight is your driveway? You can get some heavy snows in Virginia, but how many per year? I have a 1/2 mile winding driveway in Michigan, that I wouldn't want to blow in reverse. For a shorter straight driveway in Virginia I might want to buy the less expensive rear snowblower.
My snowblower is 54" on a BX2370 and for heavy wet snow it really loads down the engine. I think 54" to 60" would be the right size range for a B2650. The bigger you go the more expensive it gets, and how many heavy snows do you get each year in Virginia?

I'm in canada, and we like our snow.. I went with the rear blower option for my bx2370 so I would have my bucket available if I needed it. Worked quite well for me last year. I had a front mount on my Yard tractor (craftsman type) and I didn't really find it that much more of a pain.

I originally wanted the front mounted snow blower but everyone talked me out of it and it was very expensive. I think the dealer said it was over $4,000. so i ended up with the front plow. I have not had my tractor long enough to regret my decision yet. I've only had it one winter and the second is coming.

We don't get much snow in Va every 5-7 years or so you get that 2-3 feet. Average annual snowfall is 23 inches.

My take on the front plow on a small tractor is anything under 14 inches it will work fine, i don't think it has enough weight to push more plus you end up with a pile of snow at some point.

I would have missed my bucket with a front blower but then again i may have not needed it if i had a blower to start with.

We get similar snow to the op here in MD. The loader / blower combo came in real handy for our 35" blizzard last year.

I have a 50" Farm king 3pt on my bx2350. Love it. I blew snow with a front mount blower on my lawn tractor and was ok, but maneuvering and backing up in the single pass was a pain. I do about 400' sidewalk and the same amount of driveway. I enjoy having my loader. To pile and scrape to concrete/ asphalt.

I grew up with rear mount blade on a 2n ford. It was real fun after a good storm where the drifts were 4' tall and hard enough to drive over.

I am doing that so I can also buy a SSQA front blade with hydraulic angle (Third function) for my loader. This way I have 3 easy options for snow removal; snow blower, bucket, and blade. We get anywhere from a few inches to 2 feet.
