I've got a quote on 2 setups, input appreciated.

1) 2601, QT 60in frt loader, 60in mmm, BH with 12 bucket. $29,667.64 delivered

2) 2601 MMM $17,220.17 delivered

Add a Woods backhoe to my 30 year old L2250 gear Kubota after replacing
frt tires and rear tires and wheels. approx $10,000.00

Thanks

BH70 on the 2601 from Kubota

BH75 from Woods on the L2250

Which is the best way to go? L2250 I bought 31 years runs good, looks beat.
Opinions on hanging new BH on older machine compared to getting new all in one unit. Cost the same,29k+/-

The price on the new unit looks to be close to what I would price out with tax.

The Woods sounds kinda high! Usually the price I usually tell customers, take the amount of feet and X $1200.00 and that gets it real close for an installed unit.

Is that a subframed and which type of hydraulics?

Pat - not trying to highjack lilguy's thread, but looking at 2601 also.

I've quickly grown appreciative of your expertise both in sales and service/troubleshooting.

I have BX2360 with BCK54-23BX MMM deck, BX2750D snowblower, and BX2751 front hitch/BX2753 mid-PTO.

Are any compatible with a B2601?

Unfortunately, the Build part of the Kubota page just says "51 snowblower or 54" MMM - no model #

I'm guessing "no" to all, except is the 2750D snowblower compatible with the B's front hitch?

As you know - that snowblower is a chunk of change, that is VERY important in my neck of the woods.

Thanks, and my apologies to lilguy.

Thank you for the kind words! and the gracious "Hi jack"

You had it pretty summed up. Even though the BX2750 D is not listed, I believe that it will work. Those were the same numbers for BX 60 series and B 20 series for a 50" blower except you had to add in the mid PTO driveline for B series.

Your new blower package should be, if starting fresh as follows:
B2741C quickhitch loader and MMM bracket ready
BX6751 front PTO driveline
B2758 mid PTO
BX5450 50" blower with manual spout rotation and deflector
Hydraulic and electric spout and deflector are available.

Pat - thanks so much! I started another thread with same question, thinking you missed this one!:p

The snowblower package ALMOST priced my BX out of my comfort range 3 years ago, with it being my first Kubota, etc.

Now, more often wishing I had just a little more tractor.....:p

And now back to the show.

Thoughts on adding a BH to a 85 L2250. Tractor would also need frt tires and rear tires and wheels.

Lilguy- first my apologies for the high jack.
Second, only my gut says adding a backhoe to the old tractor would not be my choice.
The way my luck works, I would get the new hoe on the old tractor, then something catastrophic would happen to the tractor.
Just my 2 cents...
Best of luck! I looked at a 2601 again this morning.

Thanks - good info. Looking for same outfit w/ 54"MMM and 54"QA WITH ALL WSM INCLUDED!

I'm going to the dealer I got the BX2360 from tomorrow.

They will take trades, and per 1970cs, my BX2750D snowblower might work with a new front hitch/mid-PTO.

I will likely also look for block heater, maybe front 3rd function, and rear remotes (2) as wish list items.
