I now have an MX5800 at my yard. I got the 6' bucket, a 5' Rake Master grapple, Land Pride 3048 forks, Land Pride 2572 Box Blade, and a Ratchet Rake. The first opportunity I had to use anything was yesterday, so I tried out everything except the Box Blade.

Nice! This was a major step up from my BX2200 and I have a lot of field clean up to do; so I knew I needed something with more power. I surely am not disappointed with this new tractor.

Oh, I also got the BH92 backhoe, but I have not used it yet either. If the rain holds off a little, I'll get to try that as well - soon!

Congratulations on a very nice setup. It sounds like you will be doing a lot of work with the FEL... that BH92 will be a great counterweight for such work. Enjoy.

I worked on my neighbors MX5200 and had to test it after, I was amazed at the power it had spinning a HD Woods 6' rotary mower going uphill in 2nd gear. when it felt a load I could feel the Turbo coming on to help.. pretty impressive, and youve got more than that :)

Who knows? If I had won the Lotto, I might have bought a John Deere! (Just kidd'n. My wife's mower is the only green thing we have other than our trees.)

Thanks, y'all. It is so much larger than my little BX2200, and it is nice to be able to do the things I had always wished the BX could do.

Was that an HST? On my gear MX5200 2nd gear is way too slow to mow with a 6' mower.

Well, I have the Kubota ZD331 for when I mow, but the wife wanted the hopper system that John Deere had but Kubota doesn't. I guess I am a little cursed, huh?

No, it is a Gear shift, it was 2 (hi) is that considered 6th gear?? it was a much taller gear than my Lil 35hp could ever do.. But now I see they have my same 3cyl motor in Generators and Skid Steers with a Turbo, and it makes 50+ Hp :) Thats right up my ally when the warranty expires ;) My Daily driver is a Superchaged Crewcab. I cant leave anythng alone :)

Okay, hi range, that makes sense. I guess I would consider that 6th gear. I haven't tried mowing in that gear. Usually 5th unless it's thick, and use 3rd next to buildings and trees. I'm sure it would pull it but it would probably not cut very well.

Congrats. I've got about 25 hours on my MX5800HST, mainly pulling a 6 foot bush hog. It's a beast
