FEL hydraulic hose connectors.

I have a L3301 with a L525 FEL. I am interested in how everyone's (FEL) hose connectors are mounted. The four hoses connectors on my tractor have, all four male fitting mounted to the tractor, and the female connectors go with the loader. Is this the normal hose rigging?

My B2650 with LA534 loader is set up the same way also.

Thank gents for your speedy answers. I have been afraid to remove the FEL, due to the fact that I might mix the hoses when re-attaching the loader.

That's how they are on my old Great Bend loader. I just removed the controller because it is leaking terribly and ordered a new one. Just tape them mark them and take a picture. Then you're good to go.

Colored tape or zip ties work great for marking the four hoses, but not sure what that has to do with what side the males or females are on?

Yep if you mix them up it won't work right!

Like others have said colored zip ties or tape works to keep them in order.
They also sell colored rubber caps and plugs to keep them in order and clean.

My snowblower came with black hydro caps so I raided my daughters nail polish and put 3-4 colored matching dots around the perimeter of the fitting, ex: red,yellow,red,blue. Later I found the right color coded caps and replaced the black ones.
