Found part on B2650

After using my B2650 I found a part on the floor board between my feet. I looked around to see where it might belong but I didn't see anything obvious so I snapped a picture. Anyone know what this is and where it goes?

Check the three point lowering height stop knob and see if it is missing the nut and plate are missing from it.

Thanks a lot for the help! You guys nailed it. Luckily the top half of it stayed in place so I don't think I lost anything. Will get it back in place and be sure it's snug, doubt I will be that lucky again.
