I have a Kubota L3301 with 60 hours on it. It has served me pretty well in our brief association until recently. Now, it runs for 3-5 minutes, then stalls. I have bleed air via the bleed valve on top of the filter, and that works- for about another 3-5 minutes. I can repeat this process until the engine is warm, then it will not start up again despite purging the air.
So I believe I have a vapor lock, I just don't know how to properly fix it. Can anyone suggest another diagnosis? Is breaking the nut on the fuel injectors the only was to properly bleed air?
Thanks!

I confess to being cautious from the git go, but I would recommend that you not mess with the injectors on this tractor while it is still under warranty. The engine related parts should have a 5 yr warranty because of the tier 4 equipment. I think your tractor has high pressure common rail type fuel supply, so you need a parts diagram and WSM to start with if you were going to mess with it.

As far as the real problem, start with something simple like a clogged fuel filter or a clogged vent somewhere. After that take it in to the dealer if that is possible.

Diesels don't vapor lock!
A vapor lock is when the fuel boils in the line due to excessive heat. ;)

You possibly have a plugged vent on the cap, tank, or return fuel system.
It's under warranty, take it to the dealer and have it fixed!
And while your there order a WSM, it will answer a lot of questions in detail on proper service and repair in the future.

I agree with Wolfman on all points. I am most suspicious of a tank vent source being plugged.......the vent has to enable two way air flow. In to compensate for fuel consumption, out to relieve captive pressure during thermal fuel expansion.
