Hello all,

I have a BH77 and Field Pride rotary cutter. I have taken them both off and on with relative ease and I'm sure I'll get better at it the more I do it.

My question is can there be a better or easier way ? Is there a way to not have to pull off the whole three point hitch to put the BH77 on ? It doesn't seem so to me. The "pin bolts" on the lower arms are a pain in the butt.

Thanks and I'll try to add a picture of what is left on the mower.
Sorry the picture is 90 degrees off .... don't know why.

I figured a way to make it easier for myself. I sold my backhoe and bought a Bobcat mini x. It's way better than the backhoe ever was and it keeps my tractor free for other task.

Bulldog gave the correct answer! But then, that's only my opinion. Worthless to most. But then I use a pole saw instead of reaching over my head with a chain saw.

The mini x and the tractor work well together. I can dig dirt with the bobcat, load it in the dirt pan pulled with my M9000 and haul it to where it's needed and spread it with my L3000. Having a mini x makes life much easier than having a BH alone.

Maybe before buying one the best plan would be to rent one for a weekend and see the difference for yourself. In my opinion it's like night and day. I believe you'll see your projects will be completed 2 or 3 times faster and your stress level will improve as well. I'm a firm believer in working smarter, not harder.

I have found no way to leave the lift arms on and run the backhoe. I had a Woods BH7500 and there was enough room the arms would fit in the lower open space. Hate to say it so far I like the woods better. May try to sell the Kubota hoe.

Two rigs is the best answer.
Best answer but only if you have an unlimited budget and deep pockets. I can pull my 3 point hitch arms and have the backhoe on in 15-20 minutes and back again. Not instantaneous, but very doable.
