I have a BX2660. It will run great for awhile, and then spit/sputter and lose power. I changed both fuel filters and it still does it. I bled the system per the manuel. When I did this the fuel would spit out as per normal. Near the end of the 30 seconds of bleeding the system all that came out were bubbles. Is there an inline fuel pump that maybe not working properly?

Something in the tank "could" be blocking the lines, and to "prove" that will be fun! Not a fun tank to take off. Fuel gauge sending unit has been know to fall apart and stop up the works!

If you were getting fuel for a while , then it slows down, I would not think it would be a fuel pump problem.

Have you checked the fuel tank vent ?

Sounds like a fuel problem. It could be air in the fuel line somewhere. You fueling system needs to be air tight.

When and what conditions did it start. Have you mistakenly added gasoline to your tank?

Pull the supply fuel line with a clean bucket and turn the key, it does and electric fuel pump and check for a constant fuel flow. Could be the pump, air leak or garbage in the tank.

darkman - I posted this for your last thread:

You can find a very good Workshop Manual (WSM) for your tractor here:

http://www.kubotabooks.com/

It will answer many questions as you get to know your tractor.

I got mine there!!

I've had this exact problem several times with my BX22 each time it was water in the fuel. I have to change all filters, completely drain the tractors fuel tank and I quit buying bulk fuel since I dont use that much anyway and started buying 10 gallons at a time from one of the local truckstops. Problem solved. Water was getting i my storage tank.

Strange thing though, I also have a B7300 that I would fill out of the same bulk tanks and it never had the problem.

Hokie, in his post, mentioned the fuel tank vent, but I have seen no reply where anyone checked the vent. With a full tank 15 minutes is probably about the time to pull a vacuum in the tank and reduce fuel flow.
