Thinking about getting good one of these. Anyone have any experience with it?

Looked at tractor data, and seems to be similar in horsepower. About 300 lbs lighter then the l185. Not seeing any position control for the three point hitch. Thinking it's similar to the bx in that regards. Supposed to go look at it after work tomorrow.

Any input will be very helpful :D:D

They are not bad tractors, but you'll find it tough to get parts and information on them.
A lot of parts are obsolete, and did not cross from model to model. ;)

You might want to try the question over at tractor by net forum, they have a page for satoh. I have a satoh beaver, and it is one tough little SOB. Problem is, that like some of the Kubota gray market models, it has a non standard size and backwards running PTO shaft. Don't know if the busk has the same setup as the early beaver...:D:D

Thanks, been researching most of the night on it. I notified the guy a little while ago, that I was gonna pass on it. Was looking for something to fix up an make a quick buck, but I'm thinking after time and energy, there wouldn't be much of a return

Here's what I was looking at.

Haven't had much luck over there. Posted a question on a cub cadet lawn mower. Had the issue figured out the next day without help. Finally got a reply after a month, that was way off base. Forgot about the thread over there and finally got an answer a couple months later  I'll stick with the good folks here at OTT ;):D:D:D

Darren, I think I saw that tractor on CL. There were 3 or 4 pictures. In the background on one picture there were other tractors, including a Kubota. If there is a dollar to be made that guy may have discovered it's not a highly sought after tractor. I don't know just guessing.

That was the link I tried to send you earlier. :)

That's what I'm figuring too. When I talked to him earlier, he really didn't know much about the tractor or bush hog. I got the impression that the first time he looked at it was when he aired up the tires and jump started it just before he posted it on craigslist. He stated when I asked about the bush hog, that he never even lifted it up and looked underneath it. All he checked was to see if the pto spun. Stump jumper was removed and sitting on top of the bush hog.
