Very nice, I wanted the same tractor but wouldn't fit in my garage. The cab would have been nice when mowing on hot days & heat for the snow removal.

Good luck and sure you will enjoy the 2650!

Nice looking setup!

How is the Hydro Whine at PTO speed in the Cab?

I had a B3030 Cab version and the Hydro Whine at PTO speed was awful.

Hopefully Kubota has fixed that noise.

In the cab with the doors closed it's surprisingly quiet even mowing at wide open throttle. The hydro whine is really loud though. I really noticed it moving the tractor around at low speed with the doors open. Enough so that I considered calling the dealer and asking if it was low on fluid or something until I read online that it seems normal with these things. Operating it with the doors closed you don't really hear much.

LOVE THE CAB!!

Very nice. I like those wheels on the mower deck much better than mine. would make taking the deck off twice as fast.

Funny!! It does look like that but it was just the kind gentleman who delivered my tractor trying to get out of the picture.

You're only about 2 hours away from me. You're welcome to come check it out anytime.

Nice units for sure! I just sold and delivered one almost identical to yours last Saturday. Those HST do have a lot feedback in the cab. Very common on the B series. The L series a very quiet.

I REALLY like the cab!! I've driven equipment with cabs before but never owned one. I mowed with it on Monday after it was delivered....after I got the bugs off the windows, the mirrors off and the loader off....

It was windy as heck and hot out and my yard was way past due to be mowed. It was nice to be in the cab out of the wind and the grass blowing everywhere.....oh yea and with the AC blasting too!! I wish I had done this last year when I was thinking about it.

I have the same tractor, good choice!

Couple of questions:

1. Why did you take the mirrors off? I can just fold mine in if I need to get closer to something.

2. You say "quiet when running with the doors closed". I'm seriously hearing impaired (beaucoup high frequency loss, really should spring for some hearing aids) and mine is painfully loud in the cab. I wear a GOOD pair of muffs any time I'm running it. I'm pretty sure it's normal for this tractor, maybe you have more noise tolerance than I do?

Also, if you work around brush or trees, you may want to think about putting some expanded metal in the gaps in that grille guard.

I took the mirrors off because I don't really see a use for them the way I use my tractor, they looked goofy and they were loose and flopping all over the place when they delivered my tractor. It was just as easy to remove them as it was to tighten them up.

As for noise....I have some hearing loss mostly from my old Army days but nothing too bad....unless you ask my other half then she'll say I'm deaf!! LOL

There is noise but the cab does a great job of cutting it WAY down. No way would I say it's painfully loud in the cab....even when mowing wide open throttle in tall grass. Have you mowed with an open station tractor recently?? On my old tractor I would mow with my cell phone in my back pocket and I never heard it. In the new tractor with the cab I can hear it ring and even hear the little ding when I get a text message. So when I say quiet....I'm comparing it to my old tractor (no cab) or what this one would be like with no cab. The cab really seals up good....I pulled up in the driveway in the tractor when my other half got home....I was at idle in the tractor and I opened the door expecting to talk to her with the tractor running...as soon as I opened the door I realized that wasn't happening and shut it off.....that's how big of a difference there is inside the cab with mine.

I would not suggest you get a hearing aid.....if you do the mouse farts will be driving you crazy!!! LOL Just kidding!!

I do like your method for closing up the openings in the grill guard.....I don't really like how it sits so far out from the tractor and then has those giant openings....it's almost useless the way it's designed. If I had more time I'd design and build my own....wouldn't be too hard to do really but I may employ your method in the meantime. Thanks!!

That, sir, is a beauty!!

Best wishes, and enjoy!!:)

Do the hoods on those lift from the front, at the bottom of the grille? Maybe that's the reason the grille guard sticks out like that, to allow for the upswing?

Yes, they pop from the front swing up and back! Correct the grill guard is spaced out for clearance. The L's and MX's have a pull pin and push the guard forward or else you have gouge in the front of the hood.

The Cabota is my first cabbed tractor. I have MANY hours on open station tractors, dating from the 60's on.

My previous tractor was a John Deere 750, lots and lots of hours bush hogging and finish mowing with that. Always wore a pair of muffs and with the hog usually a pair of foam inserts AND muffs.

Might be a frequency sensitivity thing but the hydro whine in the cab is uncomfortable for me at any speed in any range. No biggie tho, I've just gotten in the habit of using the muffs. They hang on the loader lever and go on before the tractor gets started.

This is also my first tractor with mirrors and I really like them. I'm very surprised at how clear the image is (virtually no vibration) and I do just enough over-the-road with it to really appreciate them. I still look over my shoulder while tilling, box blading or snowblowing, but for mowing or maneuvering in close quarters it's nice to be able to just glance at the mirrors.

Nice tractor. I just had one delivered last week and mowing with AC is sweet. I like the grill protection that was suggested also. I will uses stainless expanded metal if available or at least chrome. Need to get forks now. congrats
