Surprised there is no sub-forum for gardening/farming but I'll put this here and the mods can move if needed.
Took the 'Bota out and ran down my onion and potato rows back at the end of March while I was plowing my sweet corn and melons. Had the bedder discs on so I could throw a little dirt to the hill and cover some weeds before they got too big to plow. Had to watch to make sure I didn't cover the onion bulb while still getting as close as possible.
Planted abut 650 onion sets on 12/29/15 with the majority being Yellow Granex (a variety known for its sweet taste when grown near a small South Georgia town) and about 200 Texas 1015s. Planted some Red Creole and additional 1015s a couple of months later as well.
The potatoes are from 30# of Red Pontiac seed and 10# of Kennebec seed which is a white potato. Apparently my seed potatoes were good
