I took off the mower deck on my kubota1860 and now I cannot get it back on. The rear brackets look like they should come down, but I can't figure how to get them to release.

I too will be interested to see the replies here, as I really should drop my mower deck as well. It's time to replace the blades, but I've been putting it off due to the PITA factor. :p

lowering the lift links on each side is as easy as unhitching them from the storage tabs on the frame... unless you did not follow the proper procedure of locking the lifting mechanism at the lowest point before disconnecting the linkage. This procedure is on pages 19 and 20 of the Operators Manual.
If you did not follow this procedure, and did not lock the lifting mechanism down, then you've got to overcome the lifting force of the 2 lift-assist gas cylinders to get the lift links to come down. No easy job ... you will need a pry bar and a bit of luck...

I know this is an old tread but does anyone have a operator's manual for the TG1860G? Also i am having the same issue with the deck as the previous owner took the deck off without lowering it.Is there anything on the front of the deck or does it just sit on the rollers on the ground?

Can't see the option to PM you.
Are you still willing to share your pdf format of the service manual for the TG1860? If so I am in dire need.
I need to find out if there is a way to reset the lifting gas shocks for the deck. They were lowered twice without locking them and now limits my height cutting options.
Thanks for your time.

That is because on this forum it is called "Conservation" and is started by clicking on the envelope at the top right.
