I have an L3750 2 wheel drive tractor. 1988 model I think. The manual, website and dealer say I need a HH330-82630 spin on hydraulic filter. The filter currently on the tractor is the original filter. It is completely different than the filter that all info says fits that tractor. Has anyone else had this problem? I need a filter bad and can't find one to fit it.
Please help. Thankls

Sounds really odd you have a 1988 tractor with the original hyd. filter.

You say, "It is completely different than the filter that all info says fits that tractor." Are you saying it's a different style filter?

Upload a picture. Maybe you're focusing on the wrong filter.

You say you need one bad. Why not remove your filter and take it to a dealer or local auto parts store to have them match it?

If you can't find anything locally, call these folks.

Bought the tractor used about 350 hours ago. Dealer says that it is the original filter. Took the filter to the dealer and the filter that Kubota says goes on that tractor is larger in diameter and the hole that is in the center of the filter that screws on the nipple on the side of the case is much larger. Both are spin on filters. That is no number any where on the old filter. Cant cross reference it because all Kubota info says to use the filter that won't fit. Took it to another dealer who cross referenced the Kubota number with Wix and it is the same. The Wix dealer tried to match it with anything close to no avail.

How about taking it to a NAPA store and tell them it's a hyd. filter. When they ask what is it off of tell them a "log splitter". (In other words, scramble them before they scramble you!)

Let them measure the threads and come up with something. They will have different microns of filtering, but anything they have will be better then what you have. Choices will probably be 10,20,30 micron.

When they start asking questions, just tell them it's a old log splitter you've had for a while and need a new hyd. filter.

If you give them too much information they jump to conclusions and quit hunting. They tend to want to know you shoe size, phone #, address and how many live in your house.....'cause their computer is set up that way, and they don't have to think outside the box.

Gotta make them think!!!!:D

Website does not say you need a HH330-82830, and your dealers parts guy doesn't know how to read either.

You need P/N 36330-82630 and no that does not just cross over to be an HH.

The HH330-82630 is a replacement # for 32590-38380, and 33960-82630 filters.

Thanks North Idaho Wolfman. I was told by the dealer that Kubota changed the 36 to an HH to update SKU's. I just called another dealer and he is ordering me a 36. It will be in tomorrow. I will update when I get it in hand.
Thanks

Wolfman is spot on. Here's the Kubota parts page. Filter is 36330-82630. example source

Notice the threaded adapter in the center - that's supposed to stay on the tractor. It's 36330-82670.

I assume that adapter stayed on the tractor because I have male threads on the side of the housing and female in the filter. I am hoping that my parts guy is a nimrod and the 36 not the HH is the answer. 36 on the way now.

Sounds like a loose nut behind the dealer's keyboard...

My manual and the Kubota website all said the filter was 36330-82630. 2 different dealers said that the SKU was changed to HH330-82630 which is of course the wrong filter. I went to dealer number 3 and got the 36330-82630 in today and it works great. Imagine that. Striking it up to uneducated parts guys and me not knowing any better. Thanks for all you help.
