Hi Folks,
Just realised that my previous post said PTO instead of ROPS......DOOH
So posting again...
'I have bought a B7000, obviously a grey model, but really clean with no oil leaks and no smoking.
I contacted the local Kubota dealer to enquire about a ROPS, and was told the model doesn't exist.
I asked if ROPS for B6000 or B7100 would fit, but was told they couldn't supply it.
I looked at Hercules ROPS based in Belgium and they want about £900 - mental money.
So I decided to get one made up and contacted a local steel fabrication business. Sorry mate - not allowed to make you one as they need to be CE marked.
So basically I'm stuffed. I have a great tractor that needs a rollover bar, but cannot get one, due to Kubota acting like a bunch of knuts and more interested in their profit margin than my safety, and local steel companies not able to make one due to the health and safety inspectors and their crap rules.
Does anyone have any pics of how these things are fixed to the axel? I'm going to get one made up and not tell the blacksmith what it's for.'
Thanks mateys.
