I cannot believe how many online parts websites "sell" the parts but never have the image of the part...........really? When you sell one or get one in, before it goes out the door take the pic and add it to the website!

That can be very frustrating. Most of the time I will leave that website and go somewhere else. I bet they lose lots of buisiness that way. Was looking for decals for my tractor earlier. Being a grey market, I'm trying to piece a set together. L1501 logos for the hood, and decals from a north American model for operation instructions. Most of the sites had no images. And no description on whether it was a complete set, or just the hood stickers

Please let me know if you come across ANY,
I am in a never ending pursuit of Japanese decals for my L1500DT

I may be able to help with hood decals, changed my "DT" to "1500" last night,
not sure if it is "restoration" correct, but it can be tweeked.
Be nothing to remove a 0 and add a 1, to make a L1501 decal.
Still need to get printing costs, but from past experience restoring a
1972 Steury Pop-Up camper, decals are relatively inexpensive to print with proper artwork.

Just a note:
Kubota parts alone are in the range of several million active parts.
Take that # and multiply it by the size of the photo and one needs a very large server and a support staff just to keep up with the parts photos and that just drives up the cost of the parts.

Kubota made it real easy, if you really need to "see" the part before you buy it, go to Kubota.com and they give you a neat little picture with a nice XXXXX-XXXXX number that will get you the right part you need. ;)

I can understand it with tractor parts when there are so many, but implement parts? Would you buy a toolbar clamp with no picture and no description, just a name? A rake or pickup tine?

I would certainly want to see what I was buying because a lot of parts you buy are not what they seem, you might have to order an assembly to get what you are after.

Along this same line is business web sites with an email contact and when you use it NO ONE responds. That just torques me off.

Well many items with a picture have a disclaimer that the part send may not be as seen.

I ordered a gas filler tube and the picture had the mounting flange on it but the item I received did not.

They referred to the photo disclaimer and I had to order the other parts ( from another source of corse :D ).

That is why like to go and see what I am getting unless it is a real bargan or not avalable.

They all want to be in the game, make money, have the website but don't follow through for the customer.....appliance parts websites take pics of their parts on 1" wire screen so you can know the size no matter how close or far the image was taken from. Let's go, step up to the plate!
