B7100 (NO LONGER) for sale $2000.00

I have an '80s B7100 for sale. Bought it a month ago not knowing anything about tractors. It runs good. But broke the steering box. I am not going to mess with it . I am going to buy something I can get parts easier for.

This is a 4 X 4 . it runs good and drives good til the steering gear broke. I know it is worth alot more then what I am asking just in parts. It is a B7001.

... a B7001 and a B7100, they are close but not the same.

It says B7100 on hood and in owners manual. But the serial number says B7001. So I'm guessing it's a "grey" model*. And yes unfortunately it is for sale. I really hate to sale it. I just had it for over a month. Paid more then what I'm asking. But I know it is worth it. It starts right up and runs great. But I broke the block in the steering box. And can not drive it now.

Pictures would really help, but having the B7001 on the end of the serial# is not an indication that its a b7001, if the hood says b7100 and the labels are in english, then it's a b7100.
Post some pictures and I'll change the thread title back.

Easier than selling it. I rebuilt mine ( $100 kit ) top to bottom on my old L175. Not that hard a job in all honesty.

Thanks , yes last night. I found a kit to rebuild it for $180. So I'm just going to fix it and try to sell it locally

Yep based on the pictures that is a B7100D.
Like I said there is a weird fluke in the serial#'s starting with B7001.

Fix that steering. I have a B7100 (same vintage) B7001 serial and it is a B7100 all the way. It has over 3300 hours and is still going strong. That said it is nowhere near as clean as yours looks. That is the flagship of the Kubota compacts, I think you will regret selling that rig...... JMHO......

Yup, pure B7100, not grey. My B7100 has the odd 7001etc serial number also. Weird, Kubota usually makes more sense than that.

Thank you for your help in cleaning up my ad and helping determine what type of tractor it is. I am going to order the rebuild kit for the steering since that's all it needs. The kit is only about $180 so it will be a running "driving" tractor again.

Yup, pure B7100, not grey. My B7100 has the odd 7001etc serial number also. Weird, Kubota usually makes more sense than that.

Looks like the B6100 followed the same scheme ... its got a 6001 serial number according to http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?p=174292&posted=1#post174292

Thank you for all your help. I now have the steering problem fixed. Due to the lack of interest in my little tractor I am going to remove it from the sale area . since it does run so well I am going to go ahead and keep it and restore it to the best I can.
