In the morning, I see that I have condensation on the "inside" of the clear plastic cover on the instrument panel on my 2015 BX2370.

Is this normal for tractor parked outside?

Or is this a warranty fix?

Dealer should warranty it. That said, don't expect the new ones to be any better. Kubota knows of the issue.

Could the panel be sealed better somehow (maybe some clear silicone around the edges/seems)?

Or perhaps a vent hole - like some of the plastic headlight covers have.

My new BX25D had that. Dealer replaced the panel. New panel got it too and it was never in the rain or left out uncovered.
In both cases, after a period of time, it 'went away' and did not return.
If you are worried about it being a warranty issue, let your dealer know but also tell them there is no need to replace it unless it fails, you just want it 'on record'.
The down side to having my panel replaced (other than condensation was there the next day) was that the hour meter accumulation was lost and started back at 0.0.

Unless someone higher up failed to tell me, the new panels are identical to the factory-installed originals.

Sorry if this is in a wrong thread, I have a M5140 that has a gap between the instrumnent panel clear cover and the rest of the main Dash housing. Gap in about 1/4 inch were moisture and dirt can get into to area. I looks like the entire dash housing is not up tight against the engine firewall. I am going to try and post some pictures. Anyone know how this should be repaired ? Also can you tell me how I can start a NEW Thread on this issue I have so I don't have to hijack someones thread Thanks Bill

This issue has plagued the BX2370's, BX2670's, and BX25's ever since they were built. The best solution I've found is to get black gasket maker (comes in a tube) and take a very light bead around the outside of the clear plastic on the warranty replacement instrument panel. Wipe away excess with your finger/cloth, making sure it gets down in the crease.

If you get back in contact with your dealer (if you bought the tractor new), then they should be doing this with the new panel anyways. Kubota has the warranty on these as a "if the customer notices, then we'll replace it" mentality.

My 2016 BX2370 had this issue and the dealer replaced the cluster at 18 hours under warranty.

I've been through 2 instrument clusters with condensation issues on our BX2670. First one was at 6 hours of usage. Send at about 25 hours of usage. Called my dealer and they said the tractor was out of warranty now by 2 months and replacement cost is close to $300, not counting labor to replace it. I pulled it out, took the glass off, dried it. Two weeks later, condensation and the entire panel has failed. Quite annoying. I think next time I'll buy a John Deere.

Ski doo snowmobiles have had the same problem for the last few years. The clear panel that collected condensation would come off after taking out the instrument cluster. I would clean it and wax it and it would last at least a year. Not sure if the Kubota instrument cluster is sealed, sounds like its not or condensation wouldn't collect. It might be worth taking it out and looking at it. It was easier to clean the skidoo ones than it was to take it back to the dealer to warranty it and the new one was going to do the same thing. Hope this helps someone.
