So I recently sold my 1984 B6100, Great all around machine...Just a little small for what I needed and it was a little to tippy for my liking. Bought it for $3,500 ended up selling it for $5,300:D

So, I have a chance to get a B8200 with a front end loader and a McConnel Back-hoe which I really need for digging up tree stumps and concrete remaining pieces of and old shed...He says it has about 600 hours on it, no issues....etc

He is asking $7,500 for it and I can probably get it for $7,000 is this a good buy? Am I going to be able to get my money out of it when I go to sell it like my B6100? I know its a 19HP Hydro static trans......

Please let me know what you think as I would like to go buy it Saturday if its worth it. Plus, if anyone has any info/feedback on the backhoe that'd be great. Thanks!!!

Backhoes in my opinion get MORE bang for the buck than FEL in resale .......
now you might not get your $7k back -- but you have been good with the resale before;) The 8200 is bigger and stronger, and has a hoe......hoes are always fun:p

remember cash talks - and you know the rest of that story!

My only concern with it is the down riggers just go straight down instead of out and down, is this going to be an issue? Most of my work will be done on a hill
I would not think that will be an issue, them thar are some mighty big feet!:D

the bucket has been used - specially on top !

non factory seat -

but at that price - hard to beat! If only 600 hours .....a steal!

Yeah, I know that seat isn't original....mine on my b6100 was minutes away from needed replacing.

I'm sure this machine has bumps and bruises, I also found a B7100 loader/backhoe but he was asking $8,700 with 1600hrs!!

It's almost impossible to find a sub compact with a loader and hoe for a decent price.

Do you think that hoe will be decent digging up tree stumps and concrete?

Want to buy the RIGHT Kubota this time around

concrete is a bit harder to break up - the trees will be easier depending on type and size!

I would buy this machine, I would not wait - but do test it out and look over the little things too.

Looks like a decent rig, check it out and see how low they will go.

Good luck, and no issue with stumps & with the concrete drill a few holes first and it will break up easier.

I did end up buying the tractor, cosmetically it is OK I am in the process of cleaning it up now....

The backhoe works great, I dug up 3 tree stumps and 2 concrete posts, the only issue is 2 hydro lines are leaking....actually have my local machine shop making new ones...

Nice strong machine, one thing I did notice was it did have blow-by and of course I didn't notice that until I got home....and once it warmed up it was hard to re-start, and wouldnt idle with the throttle lever all the way back, well come to find out the decompression lever was "stuck" on the valve cover end and it was slightly engaged, push it back over by hand and the tractor runs great, no more blow by issues or hard to start when warm and idles great!

Nice score and cool you figured out the decompression thing. Mine was frozen from lack of use, but I got it working again - lube and tap, lube and tap. Now when I get on my tractor I work the new cable before starting.
