It seams my questions about my old b6100 do not draw any interest.
Is there a site that may be more focused on the older machines?
Again,this is meant with due respect, I just may be out of my league here,simply can't afford a modern kubota(as much as I'd love one) but do want to touch base with those who can help me with questions about my new to me but quite old kubota
Thanks
Al

I have an old one as well. Not the b6100. But an old l1501. Give your other thread a bump, by replying to it again. And someone should chime in. Sometimes they get missed by the person who happens to know the answer to your question :D

Hi Al, there are several members with B6100s, Shaun Blake, clippy come to mind. You can locate them with a search of b6100 posts and send personal messages to them. Or start a group discussion. If you don't get the information on a question, bump it up to the top and rephrase the question in case the folks that know the answer are not logged on. Many of us have or have had old tractors and love them. New is nice but old reliable is too.

now .....what TYPE of B6100 you got??? If a gear - then that was a 6 year span - '78 - '84

If a HST model - then they made that for 20 years !!!! - '77 - '97!

the B7100 ( which is very popular) came right with your model.

SO - what questions due you have? Several of the guys here have those "older" tractors - and know them inside and out.

After doing some reading - I see you have a HST.....is the year stamped on the front wheel rims by chance?

There has been numerous topics in here on that model. A search in here for "B6100" along with a few keywords that would fall in a conversation in the area of your questions may well bring up a few good threads on your topic.

Hi, Al;
Sorry you didn't get the response you needed. Sometimes patience is required as the wise ones may not see your post, and the wise guys like me may hijack it with all manner of inappropriate chatter.

I've got a B6100 as well, but mine's a gear-drive so if I had noticed your posts that you had an HST, my jealousy would have prevented me from helping. :D

You're welcome to PM me but from the topics I've seen you posting, I don't think I'll be any help at all. That being said, it seems that a lot of folk here have been so irked with my smart-ass comments that they've found the inspiration to solve their issues in spite of me, so perhaps I can be of some help after all. :eek:

I am in the process of retiring my L1501, or re-wheeling rather. I had the centres cut out of a pair of 11r-22.5 wheels. Just waiting for a couple of 1/4" thick 18" squares to replace and bore out to my bolt pattern.

Good luck with your search for answers. Sometimes i find re-wording my query will get different answers
