l3010 wheel wights

hi im new to this form and wanted to know what you guys one thought about putting wheel wights and weight in the tires for my l3010 4x4 with a loader and nothing on the back right at this time. i do use mowers a back hoe ext with this tractor but right naw with nothing no it so i can get in tight spots it is not balanced. she is very light in the rear end with the loader i do not feel safe picking up a full bucket load to the full hight on less the level ground

It can be done and helps, but as you know will not be optimal. I have fluid and wheel weights on my L5740 and can use the loader without anything on the 3PH but usually have 1100 pounds of counterweight.

We have a Massey Ferguson 375 with cast centers and flud and it does great, but Kubotas are pretty light.

i have same tractor. my tires are filled. lots of extra weight. i have turf tires and hardly ever get stuck.

The right side is 260 lbs, the left side is 240 lbs. (difference is the amount of lead and steel). Total rear wheel weight added: 500 lbs.

how hard was it to but the wheel weights on? And what did you forum the weights in?

I have an L3200 with filled rears (250 lbs/tire) plus 130 lbs/side in wheel weights. With the FEL bucket empty, I am light in the rear - in 2WD it will slide down a 20 deg slope, and spin its wheels going up it. So I try to keep at least a 300 lb implement on the rear. If I'm doing loader work, I make sure I have at least a rear blade (about 400 lbs, well back from the 3ph), or a 600+ concrete weight closer to the 3ph.
I like the looks of FTG-05's wheel weights, but weight on the 3ph is more effective geometrically. In addition to giving you more traction, it also lifts the front end and reduces strain on the front axle. Many of the members here like about a thousand pounds on the 3ph for serious loader work.

i cant have any thing a the 3 point hich cuz im pulling loggs and i have a boom pull on the 3 point hitch. i am thinking wheel wights 300 to 400 pound on etch side and load the tires with rim guard tire ballest. with the chains i shound have the traction but i dont know if it will still be enugh for loading trucks with 8 ft green oak swing from chains no forks yet. today the rear end poped off the ground when the log swong hard to the side not fun.

You REALLY need considerable weight on the 3 pt hitch to counter the loader!
Or you will kill the front end! Wheel weights or loaded tires do not help the front end at all.

When I'm skidding logs I usually take the FEL off, but when I need the FEL on
I have 300-400 lbs of weight on my log boom pole. Or at least a 3-4' section of
log hanging from the tongs.

When doing serious loader work I like 800-1000 lbs on the 3 pt of the L3800.

like maby build a seal box from the 2 in hitch up to the top link on the 3 point hitch and fill it will concrete (clearing the hitches so i can take it on and off easily)

Yes, add weight to the boom, that'll work. I basically built a heavy frame with a short boom pole to hang log tongs or chain from, then added some old wheel weights to it. It's probably 400+ lbs. More weight for loader work is needed, but this is about all I want back there when skidding logs.

In addition to the concrete/lead/steel wheel weights, for serious loader work, I also use my LMC box blade, which weighs 675 lbs by itself plus the 410 lb lead, steel and concrete weight block I built to hang off the back. It also mounts my Rachet Rake (at 110 lbs) for a total weight of 520 lbs:
