Bent 3 point arm, and other questions B2650

I made the mistake of loaning my new toy (tractor) to a guy from work and when I got it back I found out he bent the adjustable arm, how I don't know and nor does he know how it got bent. What is the part called and who can sell me a new one (see picture)

Also a few other questions

1. What do I need to do to winterize my machine for KS winters? it will be stored inside my unheated and unisulated garage.

2. If I end up having to take the loader off for winter storage is there anything special with that?

3. Over the summer I had the loader off multiple times and it sat in my open air barn, 3 times the hoses were pressure locked when I went to hook them up, is this a common problem or what?

4. My tractor is at 45 hours and I know major service needs to be done at 50 hrs, what all needs to be done and how much is it going to cost me

5 minute fix, pull it off and press it straight, and put it back. If you don't have access to a press, hammer it flat with a BFH!

You're going to need more than a hammer for that. If you don't heat it up red hot you can swing a hammer all day without getting anywhere. But yeah, you can straighten that up and it'll be good as new.

I'd take that bent stabilizer off. and wedge it between the reese hitch and bumper of my truck, and take a cheater pipe, about 6-8' long, and bend it back to straight. Then I'd put the same bend into mr borrow-no-more's spine, with the same cheater pipe...

It isn't going to be "as good as new". It is weakened at that point, and likely to bend there again.
You would need to get that from a Kubota dealer, and they are called telescoping stabilizers.

Straightening it will work, but your friend should pay for a replacement. You shouldn't have to deal with a weaker component. Stabilizers take a lot of abuse; that was bent by compression, so he must have struck something with whatever implement he was using.

listen to what HODGE is saying.....word for word......

He has been building these for a very long time, and if you ever had a turnbuckle style, you will understand how fantastic Hodge's stabilizers are built.

More on his second comment......your "friend" needs to replace it , period ....end of discussion - you would have to be thrown from the seat to do that - or have all tires spin against something "real"

I agree with Hodge, it will never be as good as new without replacement. Your friend needs to step up and make it right.

Sometimes having a tractor can be a PIA. My equipment leaves the farm from time to time for other jobs but you can count on this, it comes with a operator which is me.

Yep, the guy using it should replace it.

Until then, take it to someone with a press and have them straighten it. Can't find one? Take it over to Parker. Machine shop on west end of Main St. has one and does good work.

GET SOME FUEL TREATENT FOR GELLING

NOTHING SPECIAL ON THE LOADER - MAKE SURE TO CAP OFF ALL OF THE HYDRAULIC LINES WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE CAPS

BEFORE YOU "UNHOOK" IT - CUT TRACTOR OFF - AND THEN MOVE THE STICK AROUND A COUPLE OF TIMES TO RELIEVE THE PRESSURE. SOMETIMES YOU MIGHT NEED A SMALL SCREW DRIVER TO "POP" THE END TO RELEASE THE PRESSURE - BE CARE THERE, COVER IT WITH A RAG AND TURN EYES AWAY .....

NOT SURE WHAT YOUR MANUAL SPECS ARE - BUT - CHANGE ENGINE OIL, FILTER AND HYDRAULIC FILTER, CHECK FUEL FILTER(S) AND CHANGE THEM TOO IF THEY ARE CRUDDY.......IF YOU DO THE TWO FILTERS AND OIL, AND FUEL FILTERS......LESS THAN THAN $50........GET A GOOD SYNTHETIC OIL MADDDDDE FOR DIESELS AND PLACE THAT IN YOUR MACHINE, OR USE KUBOTA'S OIL, BUT I WOULD USE ALL KUBOTA FILTERS NOW.......
