Got a price of $25,200 on the rops 3350 with a 72" mower deck and 63" front mounted snowblower.

With the same implements on the B2650 $21,000. That includes the two implement discount kubota is running and 0% apr and free delivery.

The salesmen recommended if i wanted the B2650 to drop the deck size to 60" and the front blower to 51" he said it really depended on how thick the grass i mow is and how deep the snow is.

They have a couple B2650's in stock would have to order the B3350. They have sold a few B3350's and have had no trouble with the DPF as long as the user let it regen. He also said the 3350 will have a higher maintenance cost down the road.

I've owned a B2650 for over a year now and have been happy with it. I had the same struggle when I was shopping around, more horsepower is always better, but couldn't bring myself to spend 4 to 5,000 more for 7hp. Not to mention the DPF equipment that comes with it.

I can't imagine the B2650 not handling a 72inch mower, I've mowed stuff with a 60inch that I should've brushed hogged and it hardly knew it was there. When I have used the brush hog I have cut thick grass as tall as the back tire and it had no problem with it.

The other thing that I used to convince myself I'd be happy with it was the engine. The size of the motor is the same size they used in the 2920 rated 29hp just a few years ago. Derated? maybe, but it will do everything a 30 hp B2910 will do.

If money and waiting for one isn't an issue go with the B3350, but if you decide on the 2650 I think you will be happy with it.

Thanks for the input. It does like like they both use the Kubota D1305 motor. It makes you wounder what they did to drop a few HP to get to 26HP.

I guess it was to avoid the DPF.

o

I have the 2650 also and have had no issues with 26hp vs 33hp. I pull a 60" brush hog and even in deep grass no shortage of power.

Also, I saved nearly $8,000 over the 3350 which I spent on attachments. Because of that I can do way more with the slightly smaller tractor.

I was wary of the dpf system and from what I've heard am glad I passed on the 3350.

I also went through this same ordeal. Ended up with the 2650. I run the 60" rough cut with no problems. Also have the 51" blower, again no issues. I wonder if the hp rating. Any way I have been very happy with the 2650.

I paid 17K cash for a B2650 with a 60" FEL, not quick attach and 60" Boxblade
I went out and bought a nice 60" Landpride finished mower off Craigslist for $900, comparing what the dealer wants for a MMM vs a pull behind finish mower, I could have bought a new landpride finish mower from the dealer and it was still going to be cheaper than the MMM of the same size. Just something to look at

Have now talked to a few dealers and they all say the 2015 B3350 is fine and has no service bulletins. It was the prior years that had trouble.

One dealer even said that the B3350 cost more because the DPF adds about 2,500 to the cost of the tractor.

I'm still leaning more towards the B2650 but either way you end up with a nice tractor. :)

BTW does anyone know how much the kubota insurance cost? I read somewhere that it is required or you can get the tractor on your home owners.

2015 Kubota B2650 (2004 Kubota B2410 Sold)

I'm set to take delivery of my new B2650 this Friday. I discussed insurance with the dealer and his quote was about $17.00/month. This is for the tractor and loader and maybe the set of forks which is the only other item I'm buying in this package. I got a quote from my insurance agent for $14.00/month. There are a couple of points I hadn't thought of. The Kubota dealer said that kubota requires insurance to cover complete loss of the machine including if it's in transit. I asked my broker about that and how it applies when I take my tractor off my property. (I take it to the land I hunt on to plant food plots). My insurance company would write that as a separate policy because I do use it off my own property. The other benefit from them is that they include liability coverage as well so if I hit something on the road or damage something at that other property, I'm covered. My dealer was pretty sure kubota insurance was strictly on the asset replacement. For me, a separate policy from my personal insurance company seems to be the best fit.

Good luck
John

I have to stop reading these threads...... Thats 30K in Upstate NY

Ive been told to avoid the B3350. The DPF issues are popping up around here. Im unaware of how Kubota has setup their Tier 4 diesels, but every diesel truck owner I know has spent buckets of money deleting their trucks.
