I just replaced the potentially 30-yr old tires on my B7100. It had what looked like turf tires 31-15.50-15 NHS. I bought some BKT Ag R1 tires same size and find that the tread rubs on the rear fender. I bent the fender back but its still too close for comfort. Is this the wrong size tire? Should I be getting longer axles? Not sure what went wrong. Help!?

Thanks

Is this the HST 4wd version???? If so.....this aint gonna be good.....

take your tape measure or better yet a string, and rap it around the old time (hope you still have it ) and then compare to the new tire, what cha got?

Axles.....ARE they (wheels) out to the furthest location now?

If you do not have the old tire ......that info can be obtained if needed

where is IT rubbing? inside or on TOP?

ojaikubota, you may already know, but some of the gurus on OTT had to inform me that the axles on the B6/7100s have a series of holes drilled through the axle, and the wheels can be located real close to the frame (to get through the bedroom door, I suppose) or our pretty wide (to keep it from tipping over and leaving me on the ground!).

If your tires aren't at the outermost hole, you may get the clearance you need even if they are bigger in diameter than you should have put on it.

I did a bit of research and found out that there are wheel spacers available for Kubota B-series. Just bought some BORA 1 1/2" wheel spacers and will give that a try.

I'm on the furthest set of holes on the axles.

Thanks
