Well yesterday my buddy the sheep farmer,, no not our sheep farmer,,, Pulled in the driveway with his dump truck and a load of wood,, I cut a bunch of stuff for him on the fence line he wanted to clear, well in the truck was logs some about 24 inches in diameter and 10 or 12 feet long. I went out, and he said that he cut down a bunch of dead ash and loaded up the truck and for me to have fun.. YEAH RIGHT:eek: He dumped them and left me with a load of logs that my poor old body just said ,Im gona do what??
And being the bull I am, or I should say use to be I started,, only to figure out I aint as much of a bull as I use ta be.
So off to TS I go and bought me a boom pole. Hooked it and to say I was some what questioning my self on this.
I ran a chain around one and started lil orange,,and WELL DAYUM  she picked it up and never grunted. so I happly put some split stuff under the log and cut it up and then one more and then,,,, well you get the drift.
Had I done this a long time ago, there would have been a lot fewer days I wouldnt have been walking funny when I was done ;)

One of the first attachments I added was a 3-point lift pole (I don't think it's technically considered a boom pole?) It sure comes in handy, even with the loader. And I have plans to use a few chain hooks to make it function as a full lift-n-carry for my big (6' x 7' or so?) heavy chain harrow (among other things). Basically a way to have a multi-3 point suspension attachment to hold things in position below it.
