I'm looking at purchasing a new BX2370 with a 60 inch mower deck and a front end loader. Will use tractor to mow my approximately 3 acre lawn. Will the industrial tires be OK to use for mowing the lawn? Will these tires tear up my lawn or should I get the tractor with turf tires. I will use the loader to move fire wood and I got a dirt pile to move. Also plan to add a rotor tiller to use in the garden.

Right up to the end I was saying turfs would be fine......

I love my R4's would not have turfs, without chains I find that the R4's will out traction the turfs.

now grass cutting, if you find that you need to cut grass with 4wd engaged and take sharp turns with the front end, the R4s will dig it up, if you take it easy or 2wd - it will not be a problem. I have R4s and mow and ONLY if I turn sharp will the grass get torn up. The R4's will be better in the garden too.

just my 2 cents:)

Hokie covered it all, the R4 tires will do everything you need just take a little bit of planning for mowing when the ground is still a bit damp. I have the same beast, and the only time I scuff the grass up is on really sharp turns at faster than should be turns,,,, and by the way,,, the grand kids found out YOU CANNOT DRIFT A BX

It will only be a problem if the ground is soft.
So hold off right after a rain.
Otherwise like Hokie said keep ot in 2 wheel drive as I have chewed up on tighter turns in 4wd.

You will need ondustrial for moving dirt and such or you will be spinning tires.
