I bought this Piranha Tooth Bar n July for my 60" pin on bucket. Just recently I converted my loader to SSQA and bought another 60" bucket. The problem is that the new 60" bucket is wider inside than my original bucket. Now I want to sell this tooth bar since it doesn't fit my new bucket. Of course I'm going to buy another one that fits my new bucket after I sell this one.

I have used it several times to move loose dirt but no heavy digging or rocks. It's in very good condition except for a little surface discoloration of the paint.

The pics show the measurements of the total length and in between the mounting tabs.

I paid $309 for it less the freight since I picked it up.

I'll take $250 plus shipping.

Re: For Sale- Piranha Tooth Bar

If your new bucket is a bit wider - could you shim the inside of this toothbar and make it work? the about of cutting difference would small.

What is the inside width of the "new" bucket?

Re: For Sale- Piranha Tooth Bar

I laid it in the new bucket and thought I might be able to add spacers but there would be about a 3/4" or more gap on either side.

Since they're located right here near me I called BXpanded and spoke with Harry about any options I might have. Adding spacers was his first suggestion but really didn't recommend that since the gap was that wide.

I may end up trying spacers anyway if it doesn't sell but I'd hate to mess up a $300 piece of steel.

Now that I think about it I might run it by his place and let him look at it and see what he thinks about welding full length spacers to the mounting tabs.

Looks like, according to your tape measure, you could add 3/8" plate (like the one already welded on) to each end. Then weld a spacer between the plates and be stronger then new. Go to mfg. and see if he will sell 2 end pieces.

houser52, according to your measure you should have been charged $289 for the tooth bar since it is less then 60"! Only reason I brought that up is I've been looking at them for a similar bucket.

If you have Harry in your back pocket :D I would get him to add a plate FOR you - you would have a stronger bar and it would not cost you much I am sure. AS good as that company is - I would be he would not charge $30 to solve that issue.

I was charged $289 but since he's in the same state I had to pay SALES TAX and that SUCKS! Matter of fact, the same town!
