Coming up on 50 hrs. on my BX2660. I have put the FEL on & off about 3 times & no problems. Today, because my dealer is picking up the tractor for 50 hr. service work this Monday, I finished up mowing & attempted to attach the FEL. My problem is when I tried to attach the hydraulic hoses, four from the loader to the tractor. I could only get two of them to attach. The middle two would not slide down & click home. It was 96 degrees & an hour of trying everything they still will not click down. Always before I had no trouble with attaching these hoses. What am I doing wrong? I cleared the pressure with the loader stick several times. Still no luck. Help!!!

I had a similar problem last time I put my FEL back on my 2620. I seemed to have an excess of pressure in the hydraulic lines coming from the loader. What I did was push a small diameter wooden dowel into the ends of the quick couplings and bleed off some of the pressure. I got them together after doing that and have been thinking that it is possible to end up with a lot of pressure on both sides of the couplings, the tractor side and the FEL side. Does anybody else have this issue once in a while?

I've seen this, after you take the loader off, leave the hoses connected and shut off the tractor. Move the control stick around to clear the hydraulic hoses and relieve pressure, then disconnect the hoses.

Common occurance with hydraulic attachments, I fumbled for half an hour with 4in1 bucket on a hired Dingo one day, then remembered back to my Road accident rescue days - hydraulic gear all you can do is bleed the preasure, I poked a stick in to open the valve - leaked hyd fluid all over the place but they snapped on easy after that.

Its load on the attachment when you disconnect the hoses.

I have never had any problem with my BX2360 doing this but on my L3130 about half the time it don't work for me. It seems the control stick don't always relieve all the pressure. Always the red hose but a little pop with a wood dowel it go's right on.
