First real job was McDonald's, making $4.25 an hour, before that it was mowing lawns, stacking firewood, raking leaves and what ever else I could come up with. Still had all the little side jobs all the way through high schoolon another topic....minimum wage......lets see - if I went to trade school to teach fish to talk - I would not expect to have a multimillion dollar deal waiting for me when I gradumacate!
those who flip burgers - ought to get paid......minimum WAGE due to the process of work that went into the learning to flip those burgers......and now california (the most !@#$ state in the union) passes a bill to increase MW to $15 and hour.....WOW - thats gonna make me bust my but to work harder to get ahead.......
ok - Daren got me stirred up! ........
Now my oldest and youngest kids did great. They both got jobs in high school and as soon as they graduated they hit the ground running and didn't look back. Both own ther own homes and doing great. Now the middle one.... well lets say he was a little slower to get it. My wife gave him a box of tampons for his "vaginitis", and asked him if his pu&&y hurt because he was to "tired" to go to work That one statement and gift worked wonders for a motivator
My boss is over at another location right now straightening them out. Had an employee about 22 to 24 years old show up to work in shorts and flip flops. Punched in and went and sat in the breakroom to eat his breakfast. Dude started crying and and called the HR dept saying my boss was being mean because he told him to get his uniform on and get to work
