any body have idea how i can make a frame for sears mouldboard plow to use it on my b7001
sorry for my ignorance
sorry for my ignorance
I take it you B7001 does not have a three point lift on it, that would be the easy mod to get you up and running.
I guess Im missing something here. If you have the plow already and a 3pt hitch I cant see why it would be a problem setting it up to the 3pt, if its to wide you just measure it ,,if I am not mistaken the with of the pins should be between 24 and 28 inches if I remember right,,, the height should be about 16 I think,, again I could be way off base with these numbers and I mean WAY off base,, but still if you have the plow you should be able to fudge the ting
What does IDOL mean??i start cutting it tommorow thats why need some infos thank you idol skeets
what i mean is you said 24 to 28 ineed exact if ever you done this tooi start cutting it tommorow thats why need some infos thank you idol skeets
What does IDOL mean??
Here is a similar example of what Tool junkie is recommending except that instead; make the plow attach via receiver tube instead of permanent attach as this fellow did. Kills two birds with one stone. (fixes your issue and ads a tow ball too)My take on this- weld on a 2x2 inch heavy wall tube. And build a three point trailer hitch. 2x2 reciever. I find it very useful for moving trailers, my driveway grader and soon a tool for making shallow trenches. All on/off like a trailer hitch bar.
yeah i dont have problem with the attachment. reciever tube are limited available on my area, my concern was the original width" i cant make the width same as that TSC subsoiler the intendly for the B2601 my tires are narrower from that. Here is a similar example of what Tool junkie is recommending except that instead; make the plow attach via receiver tube instead of permanent attach as this fellow did. Thank you I appreciate it, going to cut it nowWidth is supposed to be 26" to 28" for cat 1
Your problem is you can't get that width because tires are too narrow, Simple fix move the hub and make the tires wider.
Or just make your implements narrow like 21" if you really need to keep the narrow tire width.
yeah thanks sir but im aint working in garden i use the plow in a sugarcane furrows thats why i need it adjustable left and right.Guys,
did I totally miss something here because to use it would have only
required a couple of bushings from the farm store Tractor Supply etc.
That had category zero pins on the plow and a zero to category one
bushing would have allowed the lower 3pt arms direct hookup.
Probably have to do something with the top bar hookup too of course
I've done the zero to one and one to two on my Kubota and Belarus both.
Adjust the lower arm width and the top link and get busy turning dirt.

That is something that needs to be "stickied"'16" to 18" is normal
