I have read your and others posts with interest. I have been renting Kubota equipment to all comers for 25 years. In all those years I have had only a few complaints regarding power. I have never had what I could call a lemon out of dozens of Kubota machines. My equipment is used to do things I would never allow if I knew what was going on and they take a beating in the process. It appears from your comments that you may have gotten the one in a million that just doesn't work right. Anything is possible and you seem to be proof and credible . I would, however, question a couple of your complaints re: the tractor. The tire size is the same at home as they were when you saw the machine at the dealership and I am assuming you saw how far up the loader lifted at the same visit. Having said that, I think your dealer needs to spend more than a little time addressing your concerns. If it were me, I would probably never get the bad taste out of my mouth. If I do ever get a lemon, I know enough about tractors and their abilities and longevity to stick with what I have found to be bullet proof, Kubota. If you change brands, it's a good idea to demo the machine for a couple of days to satisfy yourself that it's up to expectations. I hope all works out well. Let us know where you land.
