My new b2601

I agree and have written to them to make sure everything is touched up. Bottom line, however, is that I'll be using this tractor and it will be getting scratched up some. I just want to make sure I'm the one doing the scratching.
can you check your 3 pt hitch for me. Mine does not start raising until position 4. Is yours working properly?

One of the first things I did. Just finishing all the reading and wanted to gather as much info as possible before I commented, but....Mine works just like yours. Furthermore I'm not noticing any difference between positions 1, 2 and 3.
At this point the only thing I've hooked up to the 3ph is my carryall/ballast. I have used the mower for about two hours and I find all adjustments there are working as expected.
Sorry, not much help, I guess. Maybe raising and lowering the 3ph in the present configuration makes no distinction between positions 1, 2, and 3. I'm still trying to figure this out.

I am noticing a pretty good whine from HST when under load like going up hill and scraping with loader. I guess thats pretty common, but would love to hear what yours is like when you get a chance to give it a good runnin'.
Also, my FEL bucket is a little crooked, also not uncommon from what I gather. So I guess I need to find a level spot and loosen the bolts and put a little down pressure on her an re tighten. Rear tire pressure is fine. How does your loader look relative to tractor?
I been digging up a storm with her, dealing with bamboo that has overtaken the property, but we got er licked!
I haven't really run her full bore yet due to break in, been going like 75% max.
Greased her twice now probably going on 20hrs. Getting a little creak in the boom swing, been trying to get some grease in there but still a squeak now and then.
The only reason I am in here on the puter is cuz it got dark out!

MXBX--What tires did you go with on the 2601? Looks like they offer 2 turf options:
Wider
front 22x8.5x-12
rear 31x15.5-5-15
or Taller
front 23x8.5-12

Any particular reason? I think that would be the better choice overall. You get a little more ground clearance, and perhaps less scrubbing on turns that with the wider rear tires...? But maybe a little less stable if hills are a concern..?
The truth is that that I told them I wanted turf tires and that's what they put on. I will say the tractor seems very stable on hills but I usually go up and down or when running across a slope, take it slow and easy. The extra ground clearance is always good.
I wanted to post something here that I also posted on TBN re: my new B2601 for general discussion.
Hopefully this will give those considering the B2601 an idea of the quality of the cut. It is longer than my old BX thus less nimble around obstructions but on the straight paths it is a dream. I obsessed about R4s vs Turf and am really happy I went with the Turf tires. This year has been ridiculously wet and the R4's would have torn up the yard and fields. I've been mowing every 5-6 days to keep up with the growth. There is definitely a clench factor on steep slopes even in 4WD. I'm considering wheel spacers.
I installed LED lights and a waterproof switch. You will find a pair of connectors under the right rear fender. Can't miss them.
The Tool Box that came with the tractor was too small for my needs so I bought this waterproof 50 Cal ammo box off Amazon for about $30. I drilled holes in the bottom and used the mounting system kubota provided.
I found this arrangement for the stabilizers more convenient and way faster, simple 5 minute job once I got the parts at my local Ace hardware.
I really love the machine but have one serious gripe with Kubota re: the on and off of the FEL arms. It seems to me that the tractor has to be PERFECTLY level to have a chance of a good marriage of parts and even then good luck. I hate the design of the FEL stand. You'd think they could add more surface area to the legs so you could remove the FEL on grass or dirt. It is a friggin tractor. I really liked the Deere set up much better but in spite of this issue preferred the Kubota. I do remove the FEL regularly, maybe I'm doing something wrong and one of you pros can help me out here.

I have yet to remove my FEL but thanks for the heads up. Maybe a foot mod or extra hole positions will be needed to make more user friendly???
I just picked up two small plastic ammo cans from Walmart at $7/each to mount in place of the pathetic little box Kubota provided!

B2650 w/ cab, FEL, BH, 63" snowblower w/ extensions, grapple, forks, box blade
MXBX, is that the EA 54" single lid root grapple? That's what I'm strongly considering for my soon to have B2650. Can you post more pics of the grapple and connectors? Are they male and female 3/8" NPT hydraulic connectors?
