Some say the loader that's mounted to my L185DT is a 1200 and some say it's an L1730. My local Kubota dealer says the L1730 is what's listed for a loader that came on the L185DT tractor. Nothing is marked or stamped on my loader itself; that would be too easy, but all four cylinders on the loader have a stamp that reads 2842. That's it. The bucket cylinders are different from the boom lift cylinders. Reason I need to know what model this is, is so I can order and replace the cylinder seals. Is there a Master Kubota Yoda out there that can help me out? Is there some difining mark, stamp, dimension or other characteristic that might help in determining which loader I have? As always, any help is hugely appreciated.

I do believe it's a 1200 as the mounts and arms are wrong for a L1730.
But there are some oddities and variances in old models. ;)

I'ld talk next to a hydraulic shop. Give them those numbers off the cylinders and see what they say.

Either go to Kubota's web site and look at the factory drawling's or just search for images of a L1730 and 1200 loader thats what I do. ;)

bring a cylinder into the hydraulic shop and let them have a look. I brought one hose in from my sun-soaked loader and had 3 new ones made up for less than 1 Kubota hose with a higher pressure rating. Id explain that you want the joy of changing your seals if they could decipher size and sell them to you.
