Hello all . I'm wondering how many hours per year do you put on your machine ? Just curious because my BX25D will have about 350 hours on it at the one year mark . Sounds like a lot , but if I'm not mistaken that breaks down to about 7 hours a week , give or take . Sure can get a lot done in seven hours , but it does add up . Just too much fun to let her sit .

I put a little over 60 hours on her last year. Part of that the hour meter wasn't working. Will be quite a bit more this year since I now use it as my primary lawn mower :D

I bought a JD750 new in 1988, just sold it a couple of weeks ago, so 27 years.

It had 2800 +/- on the meter plus an estimated 300 hours of use with a broken tach. (I finally fixed it by taking the bezel off and lubing the innards. JD was out of their mind on the price of a replacement).

So, 100 hours a year would be a pretty fair average.

I just crossed 2 years and 115 hours, so 57.5 per year.

So far 90h in the first 6 months.
60 before winter and 30 for just snow!
I have a honey do list for this summer.
Plan on adding up the hours and more implements this summer.

Did you have a lot of things on your list or is this every day work on the farm?

Well I did have quite a list . Its getting smaller . But the tractor has its regular chores also . Mowing (about three acres) , snow blowing(drive is 500') and woodcutting . I'm currently working on clearing back the woods that has grown closer to house . A lot of trees and brush . I'm sure in a year or two the amount of hours will slow down as I get things done . But then again....... lol

I do roughly 200 hours/year. Mix of snow and gravel. And of course lifting fire wood. This last year was 270 h.
It is now ready to click 4000 hours. And I like it a lot.
No list so far.

50 a year...

I am an "odd" user. Used my machine doing tile removal and other demo hauling as well as clean-up work during a house remodel. Now focusing on the yard renovation. Still use this thing for hauling trash to the dumpster or dragging weeds in the horse corral. Sporadic jobs where the tractor is used a bunch and then it gets a break.

If my plan works out, this tractor will outlast me!

63 hours in about 5 months, probably about that rate year round. Love it, have severe implementitis, should have seen me yesterday with "new" landscape rake trying it out on driveway, raking up manure piles in pasture, looking forward to flail mower. :D

My 1980 has 1345 hrs, averages to 37+ hrs per year, but I've only put on about 100 since I bought it, so for me, about 20+ per year. I'd use it more if I lived where it lives.

So far it is looking like less than one hundred hours a year is about average . Starting to think I have an orange addiction problem with all the hours I put on mine, lol

I think my meter reads about 13 hours after owning it a year. I only get to the property once or twice a year though. Going out again at the end of May, so it'll get more of a work out then. Doing the drive and getting ready for a septic system install and preliminary survey work for the main house.

So far in 5 months the hour meter is on 49 hours, looks like I will be changing some oil and filters this week. Hardly had any snow to blow this year, but have spent a lot of time grading the driveway and shared road into shape. With stump removal, building a gravel parking area for implements, road grading in addition to the jobs I haven't even thought of yet, it looks like the first year will be bigger than I imagined. Once you buy a tractor you find ways to use it, or maybe ways to use it find you.

Mine has 191.4 hours on it today. I bought it 25 months ago do it would be about 95 hours per year.
