Was at a local equipment auction, there was a JD 750, with loader, and 72" 3 point deere mower there, Hood up, lots of shade tree mechanics scratching their heads, saying, "it wuz runnin when it came in here, why won't it start, now, cain't even get a click outta her, now" or similar. I let them jaw and head scratch some more, and saw some wires near the hood hinge, so I said, has anybody tried shuttin the hood??

After a few nah, that can't be its, they shut the hood, and it fired right up...

SO if it is running and you OPEN the hood .....does it cut off???? WHAT A POS!

Well I would speculate that green owners do not run on all cylinders.

After all they bought green!

So they need a safety interlock to keep their fingers out of a running engine!
