I am finding that 8 - 22 tires are extremely expensive, an option would be 9 - 22, still not exactly cheap. What sources do people use for tires for gray market tractors?

billrigsby, I've got two wheels and one good tire that might work. Is this what you're needing? They're off of an L1500.

I do know the rears are quite cracked.
What is your opinion of these?
Being new to the tractor world, do tires have tubes (I have seen them on-line)
or are they tubeless, until a tube is needed? Sorry a newb question.

I don't know the ratio; I have read that folks put tubes in tubeless tires (works for tractors due to low ground-speed, etc.) -- mostly so they can fill the tires without damaging the rims (or after the rims have been filled, and have rusted too badly to hold air).
Some of the gurus will tell you your best options. If I had those tires, I think I'd run them until they started to leak air, then put tubes in them.
By your whining about D2 being 50 mi. s. of Nowhere, you must not be in MO, so where are you? CO? Hint: check out Fastenal! (They aren't only a fastener company, they also provide very good rates on stuff between D2's house and yours!)
