My dog's new favorite treat..... Dried fish skins, yes they do stink! I also got her a dried turkey neck, duck neck, and pig ears. She approved all of them.

OldeEnglish, if your dog enjoys such delicacies you ought to find a farrier and have him save you a bucket of trimmed horse hoves!
No more hard bones for her. I was getting fresh marrow bones from my butcher and she broke a tooth at the tune of $600 to get the rest of it pulled out!

Interesting, but I don't know anyone with horses.... That's a rich guy's pet around here.

I think it depends on the breed of dog. Our Shepherd will and can handle just about anything. And since we've had her, she's only gotten sick on us once. But that was right after a surgery, and the medicine didn't agree with her.
Our Jack Russell has a sensitive stomach and can't handle quite a few things. He can handle raw hides and bones. Those got banned when he tried doing a sword swallowing act with an 8" long rawhide stick He had swallowed about 7" when I stuck my fingers in his mouth and carefully pulled it back out

My Dogs and Wolves are bad ones to take reviews from, I think they will eat just about anything, I swear they might be cross bred with goats!
My bully will eat anything except lettuce. She prefers veggies cooked over raw. The down side is if you want to stay up all night while she's crying and wanting her belly rubbed. You have to rub it long and hard enough so she can release the gas that's for her all upset . It smells like straight sewer gas. She's a pain in the ass but we love her

It is safe and good to feed your dogs tums, as it helps with the gas and it has calcium, we give our kids them all the time!You have to rub it long and hard enough so she can release the gas that's for her all upset
Just do not ever do Rolaids as the ingredients in those are not good for dogs!
The mrs brought home chinese the other day. I ate my shrimp and fried rice, puppy got the steamed veggies. The broccoli was like eating trees. Fury really enjoyed that.
Bananas and oranges are the favorite. One sour skittle and i think she would do a backflip for another one. If she knew how. Drooling like crazy.
Licorice-red nibs. Dropped one, and she grabbed it. Went ballistic for 10 minutes and then crashed. That was a few years ago, havent had nibs in the house since. Obviously not that great for dogs, probably not good for humans either. Red dye methinks.

Thanks for the tip wolfman, I'll tell the wife. We try night to feed her anything but a milk bone before bed to avoid the gas attack.

I never thought of using tums to help with the gassy dogs. That's great advice! Our Husky/Sheppard mix, Bandit, is terrible about gas after he's had a meal and hasn't gotten to run around much, usually because of weather.
Just took him and our other dog Dixie, whose a pure German Sheppard, to the vet a week ago, and Bandit is up to a portly 130 lbs. up 20 lbs. from last years visit, while Dixie stayed at a petite 60 lbs. The vet told me to put Bandit on a diet, to say the least.

They get a well balanced diet of, the occupational trespasser, a few thieves, some "lost" hunters, a smattering of various drug abusers (I try and get them to spit them out), and maybe an few unconfirmed FBI/CIA/EPA types, and a vegan every now and then just to keep them in balanceNIW what do you feed the wolves? Sheep?
Alright, seriously, all sorts of real food, meat, eggs, veggies, and yummy treats.
Tesla is particularly fond of Subway or Pizza, including plenty of veggies and just a little mayo.
