Hey all--

As I was digging my pond deeper this morning (before my irrigation water comes in and fills the pond), I noticed one of the hoses on my loader spaying fluid out of the metal collar at the end of the hose.

I'd like to resume digging today, if possible, but not leaking the hydraulic oil.

Should I go to my dealer for this? Elsewhere? Do I need to worry about air in the lines when I change the hose?

Did I mention my warranty expired a week ago?

Thanks in advance!

If you have a Car Quest that is open on a Sunday, many of them can make a hose for you.

Maybe pull the hose ad see if you can match it at Northern or Tractor Supply or other Ag outlet store near you.

This usually happens on Saturday afternoon or Sundays or when you need a job done NOW !!

Know any equipment service folks who might be able to make one for you ?

If you were close I'd make on for you off my service van, but you're a few miles away !

Thanks, all.

One more question: should I use the Kubota fluid, or is there another to be used?
Hi Durangogeek,

You will get more answers to that question than you can keep up with. I personally use Amsoil Synthetic tractor transmission/hydrolic oil. My second choice for hydrolic oil would be IH hytran fluid and then Kubota Super UDT.

There's my 2 cent, I'm sure you will get plenty more. :D

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the help.

I took the hose off this morning and went over to my dealer (closer than any of the parts houses). While I was at it, I decided to service my transmission, so I also bought 6 gallons of fluid and the two filters. They don't stock all the hoses, but make them custom. Fluid, filters, and hose topped out at $225, with $25 of that being the hose.

Everything came together nicely, and I was digging well before noon. More about that later.

Sounds like a real happy ending. By the way, what did you ever come up with on the fel quick attach?
