Have completed; start in Alaska (home), ferry trip to Bellingham, south on HWY #1 to LA, east along gulf coast to Florida, north to snow in W.Virginia, back to the west coast, north to the ferry and a water trip back to AK. 3 months camping, 12000 miles.
Then did a Buenos Aires, ARG south to Ushuaia following the east coast (#3), then turned north and followed Route 4 to Columbia. That was another three months (hostels) 12000 miles. Was hit by a drunk driver in Columbia so the ride back home was postponed in favor of a plane trip followed by surgery and lots of pt. I was trying the 'Tip to Tip' ride. Need to complete the Columbia to Texas and Washington to Ak on the ALCAN. Completed the ride from Anchorage to Deadhorse.
