Have 3pt backhoe, need a 'bota to fit it

This is my first post on this forum. I own several older Ford tractors but am considering purchasing a Kubota with a front end loader.

I have a Woods/Yanmar/Brantley/Amerequip backhoe painted Kubota orange - it is a Yanmar YBH-760 that was designed for 25-50 hp tractors. Weighs about 1000lbs. Although it can be attached to a three point mount, I would rather use a subframe to avoid damaging the tractor.

Based on this information, what size Kubota with front end loader should I be looking at? If I find a used Kubota, I would like to buy the specific subframe for that model.

What tractor you get should depend more on what you want to do with it than it should be a HP rating.
Finding a tractor to fit a backhoe, especially one that you want/need a sub-frame for is going to be super difficult.
You also need to decide what's going to work better for you, HST, GST, Geared, 2wd, 4wd.

That hoe bears a passing resemblance to one that fits my B2150, though much nicer. I would be happy to test that out for you, and even have the back hoe subframe. When you find a tractor to mount the hoe to, I'll see what I can do to get the hoe back to you, eventually...

As NIWM said, good luck finding a match. Might be best to sell it to someone that needs it, and then try to find a functional complete TLB. Truly, they seem to sell for some pretty good money, so you should come out ok on following that process, and if you are careful in your examination, you should be able to get an integrated and functional system for a lot less work and trouble.

Well, that's always the rub, isn't it? Money is not easy to come by. And these back hoes do not come up for sale in my area very often, so I'm determined to keep it.

I had intended to hang this off the back of one of my older Fords, a 1955 640. They are very stout tractors, have strong axle trumpets and can handle the weight of a subframe. However the loaders for these tractors are very heavy. These were ag tractors and not designed for heavy front loads, so the spindles and axle pivot suffer. And with manual steering, they are difficult to maneuver with a full bucket.

But I can fab up my own subframe from scrap - and the three point gear will be removed and set aside. Once this backhoe gets hung off of something, it's not coming off.

Won't be pretty, but around our place, 'pretty is as pretty does'.
