My b7510 hst dies when I push down on the foot throttle, in forwards or reverse. My pto lever is in neutral, doesn't matter if clutch is in or out or if its in gear or neutral. The throttle lever doesn't kill it, it revs up fine. I had this problem before, the wires were frayed on the foot throttle kill switch, I repaired wires and it ran fine after that. That doesn't appear to be the problem this time. Could there be another issue with that same kill switch or maybe something else. Last time I used it, it ran fine. Also I noticed when I have the key on and push down on the peddle I hear clicking sound that sounds to be coming from the engine compartment maybe starter solenoid or another kill switch I dont know about. Also clicks when I lift the peddle back up. Is that normal? Thanks for any info.

Have you lost weight?:p:D:confused: sorry just kidding, but actually on mine that problem showed up when the seat switch was not activated by my weight. So you might look at that for the problem. In the 3560's that switch is inside the bottom of the seat.

Sorry, I have no knowledge of your machine, nor info on your problem. Only read your post cuz of the family name (same as mine). In a little while, the gurus will see your post and provide wisdom. Prolly, as you've experienced with your previously frayed wired, a quick and easy fix.

Welcome to the forum! Hope to see a lot of you here.

Thanks sheepfarmer, I didn't check that switch but did check it when I had this problem before, and ive actually gained about 20 pounds. Also I hear a clicking sound when pushing down and lifting up the throttle peddle with the key on, sounds like its coming from the engine compartment, maybe the starter solenoid or is there another kill switch in ther somewhere?

The click you are hearing is the stop solenoid engaging, thus shutting off the engine when it's running.
Like sheepfarmer stated, it's probably the seat switch failing causing it to shut down, some models have 2 switches on the seat.

Thanks for everybodys help. This is going to be embarrassing and I really hate to admit that I couldn't figure this out immediately. I do believe its the seat switch, I have a towel bungie corded over my seat to keep the sun from eating it up. When I woke up this morning that was the first thought that entered my head.....duuu. The hooks on the bungie are on the under side of the seat, probably hitting the seat bracket, not allowing the seat to go all the way down to the switch. Havent actually confirmed this yet but heading out there right now, I'm pretty sure that's my problem and feel pretty stupid. But hey, should be a cheap easy fix, and now I'll be able to get my scraper around to the driveway so I can get the inside blade off and flip it over,....almost worn down to the bolts. I know the California jokes are probably going to start flying around...Lol, I deserve it, should of had this figured out in 2 seconds.

Yep, it was the bungie cord, works just fine now. Phew! Now I just need to find some bolts for the blade on my scraper, wore the nuts down so far I can't get a socket on them. Anybody know where I can order those for a 4 ft gearmore box scraper if I cant find them here locally?

Your local hardware store would be your best bet. Home depot and Lowe's also. Usually your blades are held on with a carriage bolt. Just cut the nuts off the back side and take the other half with you to match up the size you need. Measure the thickness of the metal, and then add enough to the lengh to for a lock nut and washer :D

try the Tractor supply (or whatever version you have local) or Fastenal.
