While I was away for a business trip a mouse built a nest up under the dash of my tractor. They ate a bunch of the wires and so the tractor won't start. Any recommendations on where to get a new wiring harness? Businesses are welcome to reply.

I would first .........GET a barnyard cat !

Ok ....enough of that .

The wires they ate though - can you get a good access to them? Can you take a picture of the mess of wires?

Since a wire was chewed ( in half?) I would imagine that both ends would still be available ? Or is this right at the key switch?

Should not be a world ender unless it cannot be accessed easily -

try to take a picture and upload the wiring mess and see if we can help!:)

I tried splicing the wires back together and now the lights and all work except for one issue. The tractor will not turn over. I jumped the solenoid and it works but the strater will not kick in. I also tested all of the fuses to be sure they are good.

Sounds like you've missed one wire. Because you can energize the starter, I suspect the wire from the switch to the solenoid. Check your Operator's Manual Wiring Diagram and verify the wire from the solenoid to the switch is intact.

Found the issue with starting. The 10 amp fuse was blown and the spare was bad too. Just my luck. Got all the wires spliced and back in but must have crossed something because now the oil light is constantly on.
