Well said, my brother! I have had similar personal experiences with the Phoenix Police who refuse to arrest career criminals while threatening to arrest ME, the victim & law abiding citizen. To say the system is broken is an understatement of the highest order of magnitude.

Right is wrong.
Wrong is right.
Good is bad
Bad is good.

The communists have done a great job in destroying our culture from within.

A friend worked for the ACLU during law school. When I advised him the ACLU was communist, he scoffed. Then I read him Roger Baldwin's quote when asked about the organization he founded...

"I have continued directing the unpopular fight for the rights of agitation, as Director of the American Civil Liberties Union ... I have been to Europe several times, mostly in connection with international radical activities, chiefly against war, fascism and imperialism; and have traveled constantly in the United States to areas of conflict over workers' rights to strike and organize.

My chief aversion is the system of greed, private greed, private profit, privilege and violence which makes up the control of the world today (capitalism), and which has brought it to the tragic crisis of unprecedented hunger and unemployment ...

Therefore, I am for socialism, disarmament and, ultimately, for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion.
I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth.

Communism is the goal."

Since this quote in 1935, MILLIONS of citizens of communist countries have been killed at the hands of their governments. Western capitalist countries enjoyed paralleled wealth and prosperity. And yet, we find ourselves headed back into communism because the intelligentsia simply think they can make communism work because they are smarter than the last group who tried it.

And ignorance is the key to their efforts. That is why our schools produce kids with zero knowledge of history and zero critical thinking skills.

Its all by plan.

This is my rifle.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My rifle, without me, is useless.
Without my rifle, I am useless.
I must fire my rifle true.
I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me.
I must shoot him before he shoots me.
I will...
My rifle and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make.
We know that it is the hits that count.
We will hit...
My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life.
Thus, I will learn it as a brother.
I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel.
I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.
We will become part of each other.
We will..
.Before God, I swear this creed.
My rifle and I are the defenders of my country.
We are the masters of our enemy.
We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

As a footnote to my post above, let me give you a word for word quote from a City of Phoenix police lieutenant, we wrote it down right after he said it:

The next time they set your front lawn on fire, poison your dog, threaten to kill your wife, or make an attempt to break in, don't call us- you're just antagonizing them!

Word for word.

On the risk of getting back on topic, We've been affected by the Cyberwall twice and it is a nasty one. Had a computer tech try to clean it once, but it either came back or never was cleaned completely the first time. The second time I did a clean reload from the factory disk. This is a nasty one. Each time it hosed all the pictures and all the Microsoft Office files. Couldn't do anything to recover those. It burns me up that they can destroy these files just whenever they want to. I would take a hammer to the computer before I would send these crooks a dime for their ransom. We still have no idea how we picked this virus up. Does anyone know of any legal steps to try to get these bums or any tips on dealing with this Cyberwall virus in case I get it again. By the way, we are a bit better about backing our files up now.

That's really all you can do. Backup to disconnected media, and rotate media so that if you accidentally backup with infection, you have a fall back.

There is no recourse. They run these things from countries that couldn't care less, and in some cases are reported to actually support these activities.

I mentioned earlier that I use VMs to provide a layer of isolation. I also have a "High Risk" VM with NO data and NEVER used to access any accounts. My job requires that from time to time I have to so unrestrained searches for information of various types that will require me to access sites for which I can't possibly recognize and screen the URL. And no, I don't mean porn, though it would work for that too. Anyway, that VM is used to gather information as needed, if necessary acquired information transferred safely off the VM (often that means plain text), then reset so that if I got a hidden infection in the process, it's like it never happened next time I run that VM.

Anyone else feel like taking there computer out side and blowing the hell out of it with the ol' shotgun  wife had to stop me from doing just that last night. Daughters wedding photos need to be backed up first  She's supposed to be coming home with some thumb drives to get the pics, and my documents. Then it's gonna be open season on an hp pavilion :D:D might not solve the issue, but I sure will feel a whole lot better :D
Been fighting with the desk top for over a month now. Will restore it to an earlier date. Everything will work fine till I get the antivirus software reinstalled. Then...... if I restart, everything is cool. If I shut it down, then it comes back on all locked up, won't access the internet, can't uninstall any programs and being a royal pita

Or someting similar to that. Its a memory robbing ram hogging file. It took me forever to vaporize that program.
Was fragmented all over my h/d.
Take a look, you will likely find it running in the background. I did a search on every running file- this was a bad one.

Kaspersky Lab is the best I've found for getting rid of even the worst malware! They will explain how to examine your system and send them logs that reveal what's going on, then give you step-by-step instructions for disinfecting any kind of malware -- all for free!

Wish I could've let you know before you wiped your HD -- 'specially cuz the infection might have spread to some of your backup files, and as soon as you access one of them...

My sincere sympathies; I've been infected numerous times, even though I *never* visit risky sites any more, and am *extremely* careful. But the nasty guys are far more clever than me, and they keep nailing me. Thank Goodness for Kaspersky and those like them!

Oh, please let us know how much the Geeks soak you! (And don't even think of submitting a claim on your homeowner's! :D)

I actually use Kaspersky since i got this computer almost six years ago :D with having three kids it definitely worked it's butt off  the one thing it doesn't protect against is someone giving permission to download something that changes the settings. I've also had a key logger before that one of the kids ended up introducing to the computer. The other times, I was able to restore it to an earlier date, and get rid of the infected files. Not sure what the deal is this time. It started happening since I got the latest version of Kaspersky. If I restore to an earlier point, reload Kaspersky everything will work fine till the computer is shut down completely. I'll come back a couple days later, and the darn thing will lock up and run slower then molasses when I go to use it. Best buy called earlier and are having to wipe the hard drive and start over, instead of just removing the crud and giving it a tune up

The geaks charge $120 for a complete remove the crud and tune up, or to wipe and start all over. I talked to the guy earlier and decided to go with the tune up and crud removal. Apparently something screwed up in there somewhere, and so now it's a wipe and redo.

Got the puter back :) working much better and faster!!! Total was $156. Was $120 for the wipe and reinstall, and had them install kaspersky back on the computer. So that was the extra charge, but a lot cheaper then buying a new one :D
