Hopefully someone will develop something that will disable texting and hand held calls while the car is running.
Sat at a bar one time with a couple older guys that worked for IBM. They pulled out this devise that looked like a little hand radio that would disrupt cell signals in a certain radius around it. They told me they can't stand watching people communicate with their thumbs like monkeys, glued to their phones. What ever happen to human interaction they said.... So they would see some guy in the corner of the bar talking with his thumbs, turn on that jammer and sit back and laugh. Once the signal is gone the fools walk around in a circle trying to figure out how they lost full service
. It was funny as hell especially when they would turn it on an off!
Maybe parents should get one and hook up in their kids car. Rig it up so that it powers by the turn of the ignition. No calls, no texts coming in. They want to make a call, pull over and shut the car off. Sadly it's not just kids that are doing this!
