Hey guys I just wanted to say thanks for all of the great info and reviews you have all posted. All of this helped me sort through the all the options available out there!!! So I guess I will quit hiding in the shadows and join in now that I made my purchase. After many days of negotiating prices and options I ended up buying a L3301 with R4s filled, FEL w/QA bucket, and new land pride rotary cutter, rotary tiller, box scraper, and 42" pallet forks. I am curious whether I got too excited or got a decent price. $25,000 out the door delivered?

Sounds very good to me.

The guy I bought my 2012 L3800 tractor from purchased it with a rototiller, box scraper and a rake and the FEL. He had just shy of $28k in it back in 2012 when he hauled it home.

They aren't getting any cheaper despite Japan's deflationary economy.

Thanks guys, it was delivered yesterday and I got out on it for about an hour. Just one problem though.....if I can't get this smile off my face my wife is going to start thinking I bought a "toy". Lol

One more question, all of my implements are QH ready, is the land pride quick hitch going to perform any better than a $150 Northern tools QH? If it is money well spent than I will always go for the quality, but if it's a moot point then....

Jbrigg,

Congrats! You need to get some tractor wax now!

Regarding QH and quality. Check out Pat's quick hitch and then check out Hodge's stabilizers. Your comment about quality led me to post this comment to you. Follow some of the threads regarding these items before you buy.

My wife can undo and hook up our 3 point equipment by herself with these additions to our tractor.

Keep on having fun!

Plenty have had good luck with harbor freight or northern quick hitches. At 1/3 the cost, it's worth a shot to me. I have the $99 H.F. one. I think a qh is better than pats if all your stuff is compatible.
