I'm curious to know what kind of load you are lifting on the rear that can't be countered by something in the FEL bucket. Why would you need suitcase weights?

If the front end loader doesn't give you enough weight on the front end, you could always scoop up a bucket of soil to carry around.

I'm guessing here...but he may be saying with the FEL off, it would be good to keep weight on the front, such as in the suitcase weights.

Pulling the box blade full of gravel up a long steep driveway my front tires tend to slip even with bucket full. If I drop into low and slow way down, traction is much better. Maybe more weight is not the solution? I find I have to raise the blade to dump some weight but then my surface finish is compromised. Back to the drawing board.

What your trying to do requires a lot more tractor than the B series, I can do it with my L but it's still a real workout trying to drag material uphill, especially if it's steep.
Drag downhill then at the bottom where it builds up scoop it up with the loader and drag that down. ;)
