Hi,
I'm looking for the specification of a bolt used to attach implements onto a B7100, they are found along the side and also fit the front of tractor for attaching ploughs etc.
I know the thread is a fine thread. I'm looking to order in the UK online.
The bolt is 30mm long and about 9mm diameter and has a no7 on the Hex top.

Bolts galore!
Think I've found it as an M8x1.25x30
Can anyone clarify this?
Thanks

Thats right. Kubota uses metric standard. If you use Tomcats link you will find a parts lists for your tractor. It doesn't give the bolt dimensions but you can use the part number for a Google search and get the dimensions. One of the places is TractorJoe

Hi

This is not really the answer to your question.

An interesting site for anyone who needs to identify bolts and nuts.
http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~bolo/workshop/thread.html

You need a Thread Gauge (ebay) and caliper or micrometer.

To really answer your question I took a bolt which looks very like yours (no 7 on the hex head) out of my B7200 and it is 8mm by 1.25mm

Don't know what the 7 means. Could be the grade of steel. If anyone knows or has the Standard I am interested.

Cheers

my B7100 has 10mmx1.25mm and I have bought them here local at the hardware store, I had to remove the original bolts to get longer ones

I am fairly certain slowgo is correct. 10 x 1.25 mm bolts.

As far as the numbers on top of the bolts go ... They are some type of Japanese Automotive torque marking - I have never been able to remember exactly.

I think it is how much to torque the bolt to (in a metric scale) so the workers do not have to think about it too much.

I know it is not the true bolt strength of metric bolts that have a number, decimal point, number (8.8, 10.9)
