Maybe not, it is new and depends on engine type. Have you got operator's manual for it? Should tell there.

Addendum: there is a free downloadable owner's manual at kubotabooks.com for the 2620. Several oil recommendations, about p63.

10w40 would be fine. I use 15w40, and considering switching to the 5w40 synthetic on my next oil change. Just make sure the oil is rated for Diesel engines

Ben I don't know if M 1 makes a diesel rates oil but if they do I don't see ay reason not to,,, I have been running M1 15-50 in the Harley since the first oil change, yes I know its not a diesel,, Rotella makes good oil and there are many good oils,, Enjoy doing the first 50 then the next 200 and every time after that,, cause every time you lay your hands on her you will learn something new
