I am looking at Titan attachments and Pats quick hitch both listed on Ebay and was wondering if there is a real difference for the money. 79.00 versus 154.00 I am hoping you guys can help me out. Ebay item numbers below for reference.
Thanks for your help!

The design of the latch on the Pat's is a far better design, look at the latch portion on the Titan ones a Bolt ??? How long will that last?
And the top piece welded to a cast piece is a really bad Idea, the weld is going to be iffy at best.

I believe the Titan product is all steel and not cast. It looks similar to what Pats use to be with the welded design rather than the ductile casting they use now. Latch does look better and probably easier to use. Thanks

The titan one is cast, cheap cast too, look at the dimples in the finish, then look at the smooth steel of the upper loop.;)

Dhuntforwork,

Pat's all the way! Much stronger. This is a case of you get what you pay for.

I ordered Pat's this week after scratching my head for a few days. I also ordered the draw bar spreader as it makes it even easier once you set up the spreader with marks for your implements. (White fingernail polish works great..)

The quality control on the Titan is typical "Chickenese." One user said basically, if you don't have a welder and a cutter, don't buy these. If you don't mind modding them to fit, they work pretty well for lighter loads. An 800lb tiller might bend the thing traveling over bumpy ground. One user said the stated width was not what he got and he had to cut his and widen it. That takes the fun out of it.

I was wrassling with a 400lb scraper yesterday and thought, Man. I'll be glad to not have to do this any more!

The manufacturer does not sell direct. TSC doesn't carry them. They are available on Amazon for less than I paid but, you cannot get the spreader bar on Amazon.

I ordered mine from this guy (Former ARMY) and even with $40 for UPS, it came out $5 more than ordering from Amazon and ordering the spreader bar and extra washer/clips. The reviewers said the spreader bar was a must.

I am studied out right now so if you don't mind,...

Is it not a concern that the extra length caused by the pat's or quick hitch type setups cause the provided propellor shaft for my tiller or bush hog to be too short ?? I want to set this new tractor up first thing as I don't wanna fight hookups anymore...
